I'm Amanda, creator and owner of a.k.wyse photo+design. I live in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina with my husband, two young kids, and dog. We love exploring outside, playing near the ocean, traveling, and watching all. the. sports.
I started this business in 2015 because creating art is a life-giving, joy-finding, God-glorifying gift that I want to use, everyday.
Telling your story— the silly, the memorable, the real—through photographs, is my mission.
Your photographs, displayed on your walls with pride, on cards that you send to loved ones, and in the digitals that you treasure, are created through an experience. I want your experience behind the camera lens to be one that makes you comfortable, makes you laugh, and has you excited for the next time!

I’m Chelsea! I am so excited to be a part of the a.kwyse p+d team and to be able to photograph your special moments.
I live in metro-Detroit with my son and dog! In addition to working with Amanda, I am a school social worker and avid soccer player.
I love being around people, exploring new places, and frequenting coffee shops. I firmly believe black and white film photography should never die.
Capturing people’s moments and lives in photograph form brings me so much joy. My favorite pictures are the ones that show personality and family dynamic. I want to capture real, authentic moments that you can look back on in fifty years and remember your child’s personality at that age, the reason why your significant other was smirking that way, or what silly thing made your baby cry at that time.
I am honored to be a part of helping your memories last forever.
